Gourmet Pizza in Gotham South

It being a delightfully grey Irish Bank Holiday weekend, and post Mini Marathon, we decided to treat ourselves to lunch in Gotham South yesterday!
The Stillorgan based eatery is freshly open after a brief unlucky closure due to a fire in a neighbouring premises, and we'd heard quite a lot about their pizzas, cooked fresh in a wood burning oven!.jpg)
My dining companion, who had completed the marathon, was simply too exhausted to eat (or so she said!), and so, one single large Flatiron pizza was ordered (12"), with a few sides, and plenty of water to rehydrate my companion!
The "Flatiron" consists of Barbecued chicken, red onion, pineapple, hickory barbecue sauce with mozzarella & smoked Applewood cheese, and was a snip at €11.45! The even better news was that it was delicious, and I had it polished off, (with a little help from my friend of course...) in no time at all.
While there, I also noticed that the eatery were using their menus to push people to their Facebook page, where they are celebrating their first birthday with a competition, to win dinner for two plus cocktails!
On Sunday, I also dined out in Salamanca, using one of our offers to treat a friend to a dainty tapas meal! Akin to true pescetarians, he had the monkfish and mash, and I had the fish pie, both of which were filled to the brim with mouthwatering seafood!
Both eateries are truly recommended, and both come with healthy wine lists and smiley service, which is always nice to see!
