Lunchtime Summer Madness!

Well, warm food and shelter at lunchtime is all we ask for in these testing times, and two restaurants in Dublin and Cork are providing this as standard, but also a little something more to put the smile back on your face!
In Rathmines, we noticed that the recently opened Little Ass Burrito Bar, (brill burritos, coffee and craft beers too), has a delightful window motif with a storm cloud. Being the inquisitive foodies that we are, we decided to investigate further, and it turns out that they are offering all customers €1 off your burrito if it's raining!
We presume it's up to whomever is behind the counter to distinguish what constitues rain!, perhaps they're trained in weather forecasting as well as burrito making!
Anyway, It being a Saturday, we'd nothing better to do, and sure enough, the dark clouds began rolling in, and we wolfed down a €1 off burrito! Nice patience there wha?!

Down in Cork meanwhile, a little birdie has told us that Cafe Bar Deli on Academy Street in the city are having a special Summer sale! (That's a novel idea!)
From tomorrow, Wednesday 20th, they are offering 50% off all pizzas, pastas and salads!
